MacDesign CDROMMaccaferri Software

This CDROM contains software for users in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and South Pacific Islands only. For clients outside these territories, please visit www.maccaferri.com to identify the subsidiary closest to you.

Passwords are required to activate the software and you will be required to contact the Technical Manager for details by email technical@maccaferri.co.nz. If you have not received your password and username within 48 hours, please contact sales@maccaferri.co.nz

On receipt of the password and username, run the executable file to install the software onto your computer. It is important to follow the full installation instructions detailed in the readme file contained on the CDROM. Windows 98 users should pay special attention when installing  Macra 1 and Macra 2 software. Please have your password and username ready for entry at the time of installation.

Please read through the license agreement. If you have not already signed and returned the license agreement then this should be done now. Failure to do so could result in loss of software updates or technical backup.

 GAWACWIN™
The GawacWin™ program was developed to provide designers with a quick and reliable way to analyze and verify mass gravity gabion walls through a user-friendly Windows graphics interface. The program takes into account the mechanical characteristics of gabions manufactured by the Maccaferri Group.

MACRA 1™ - Bank Protection
Through a user-friendly Windows™ graphics interface, Macra 1™ conducts the stability analysis of water course cross-sections, with respect to water flow by checking the hydraulic stability of different bank protection linings given an allowable shear stress and roughness coefficient for the various materials selected.

 MACRA 2™ - Weirs
Macra 2™ was developed to provide engineers with a rapid and efficient tool with which to conduct the hydraulic and static analysis of different type of gabion weirs. The software operates through a user-friendly Windows™ graphics interface.

MacStars 2000™ provides wall designers with reliable way to execute the correct analysis for the stability verification of reinforced soil walls and slopes.

Tensar Software

Tensar International has developed a numberof software programs to assist engineers in the design of reinforced soil slopes, walls and pavements using Tensar geogrids in New Zealand.

Each program consists of a single executable file which can be obtained from Maccaferri NZ Ltd. Once the program has been opened the user will be asked to send the 8 digit number listed to Tensar to receive an activation code. The 8 digit number and contact details of the user should be sent by email to tensar@attglobal.net. If you have not received your activation code within 48 hours, please contact technical@maccaferri.co.nz

TensarWallAS

TensarWallAS has been developed to provide designers with a quick and reliable way to analyze soil reinforced walls  to the Australian Standard AS4678-2002 and reinforced slopes to UK Department of Transport Advice Note HA 68/94.

TensarPave

TensarPave follows the AASHTO guidelines for the design of both unreinforced and Tensar reinforced pavements. The program contains a number of default parameters as well as allowing the user to enter site specific data.
